New Features
- Tag cast members in scene prompts: In Video Studio, type @ in any scene description to mention a character from your cast. simplecx pins that character's likeness to the frame so your cast stays consistent across scenes.
- Avatar creation shortcut on the dashboard: A new shortcut on the dashboard takes you straight into avatar creation, so you can add a new character to your cast without hunting through menus.
- Activity streak: simplecx now tracks your daily activity and shows a streak so you can see how consistently you are creating.
Improvements
- RAI chat opens inline in the composer: The AI assistant chat now opens inline while you are working in the campaign composer, so you can get suggestions without losing your place.
- RAI chat replies stream in real time: Responses from the AI assistant now appear word by word as they are generated, instead of arriving all at once after a delay.
- Preview and download assets from RAI fullscreen chat: When the AI assistant generates a video or image in fullscreen chat, you can now open, preview, and download it without switching screens.
- Storyboard frames use character portraits for consistency: Frames in your storyboard are now grounded with your cast portraits, so characters look the same from scene to scene.
- Frame regeneration keeps characters consistent: Regenerating a single storyboard frame now respects the rest of your cast, so one updated frame no longer looks like a different cast.
- Polished campaign composer: The unified campaign composer has a cleaner, smoother interface with improved flow between steps.
Bug Fixes
- Brand analysis now shows what went wrong: When a brand analysis fails, simplecx now surfaces the specific reason so you know what to fix.
- Clearer image rejection messages: When an uploaded image is rejected for an unsupported type, you now see a plain explanation instead of a generic error code.
- Brand settings no longer stuck in create mode: If you have reached your plan's brand limit, the brand settings page no longer opens in create mode and gets stuck there.
- Brand logo upload and modal scrolling repaired: Uploading a brand logo now works reliably, and the brand setup modal scrolls correctly on smaller screens.
- Campaign scheduling more reliable: Scheduling and publishing campaigns through the AI assistant is more robust against edge cases that could silently drop a post.
